Paper Wishes

Prayers/wishes at a Shinto shrine in downtown Tokushima-shi, Tokushima-ken. These slips of paper are tied and left on strings and trees by people making a variety of wishes (examples include a desire for good health, to pass a test, or to find true love). Different temples special in different desires/wishes.
